Meet The Interns and Staff


Mary Owens

Mary is currently working on her master's of Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca University and is expected to graduate in May of 2020. She has seen the benefits of therapy in her own life and is passionate about aiding others in their journey towards wholeness and healing.  In addition to mental health Mary is also passionate about music and has a undergraduate degree in Music business.  When she is not writing or preforming her own music you can find her teaching Pure Barre fitness classes in her free time. Mary will start seeing clients January 7, 2019. 


Logan Baker

Logan invites kids, teenagers and adults to tell and engage their stories in a nonjudgmental and safe environment where healing can happen. He is honored to walk with clients as they work towards greater wellness and redemption in their lives. His approach to counseling is collaborative in nature and seeks to engage the emotional, behavioral, relational, and spiritual dimensions of his client’s lives. He counsels from an integrative perspective employing mindfulness, psychodynamic, existential, and Internal family systems approaches. He is passionate about working with adolescents, college students, those who have experienced trauma, depression and anxiety, men’s issues, grief and loss, and spiritual/religious transition.

Logan is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Vanderbilt University (Go ‘Dores!) and is a member of the American Counseling Association. When he is not counseling, you can find Logan reading a book by Wendell Berry or Richard Rohr, fly fishing, backpacking, trail running(at Long-Hunter State Park), playing guitar, at a concert, or watching a movie.


Andrew Myrick

Andrew is currently working on his master's of Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca University and is expected to graduate in August of 2019. He is passionate about helping people grow and heal through therapy.  He currently is working at a Crisis Stabilization Unit helping people who are suicidal or struggling with drug addiction. He enjoys spending time with his wife and friends, playing board games, hiking and road trips.


Brandie Jones

Brandie is in pursuit of her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. She is passionate about seeing adolescents discover their identity early in life to put them on a trajectory towards success. Brandie has worked with at risk adolescents and those trying to overcome alcohol and drug addiction. She has a Master’s in Business Administration and a BA in Organizational Leadership. Brandie changed career paths to become a counselor to help others create space to identify and embrace their true selves. She considers it a blessing being able to serve others in this capacity.

Brandie grew up in West Tennessee enjoying sports, specifically, baseball, basketball, and football, outdoor activities, trying new food, traveling, collecting sneakers, and spending time with family and friends.

Paige Greene

Paige has been the Director of Women & Adult Events for LifeWay since 2006.

Prior to her work at LifeWay, Paige managed domestic community relations for the Operation Christmas Child project with Samaritan's Purse.  She is also working on a Master's in Professional Counseling at Liberty University and is currently an intern with Lantern Lane Farm. In her spare time, she is a fun Aunt to four teenage and young adult nieces and loves traveling, singing and spending time with her family.


Tyler Scott

Tyler is a master's level intern studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University. His professional memberships include the American Counseling Association and the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association. Tyler was guided to join the counseling field after an inspiring volunteer experience at a grief camp for children. To witness the children's bravery, amazing ability to connect, and transformation was truly life changing for him. Tyler has a heart for working with children/adolescents and places a high value on incorporating nature along with mindfulness in the therapeutic process.

Tyler is originally from a small town in Illinois, but Nashville has been home for the past five years. When he's not taking care of his daughter as a stay-at-home Papa, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, golfing, and biking.


Joni Cook

Joni is our Business Development Director. She grew up in Michigan on a blueberry farm, which is where she learned a good work ethic from her parents.  Joni has a BS degree from Liberty University. Upon graduation from college, Joni worked for the university as a dorm supervisor and took masters level classes in education. Joni served alongside her husband Ralph in 3 different churches while helping raise their two sons and working as a land developer and realtor. Ralph and Joni began Lantern Lane Farm in 2004, which became a non-profit entity in 2008.

Ralph and Joni have two grown sons, who are both married, and five grandchildren who they adore. She loves spending time with Ralph and their family.


Diane Mitchell

Diane is our Administrative Assistant and Intake Coordinator. She is a Certified Lay Counselor from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two children, grandchild, and her two fur babies Muffin and Brookie Lynn.
