Derek Hazelet, Chair

Derek joined Lantern Lane Farm Counseling’s board of directors in 2018. He is a Generosity Strategist at Generis and has over 25 years of experience leading in ministry and business environments where he has developed and implemented solutions for churches and their ministry-funding efforts. Derek’s passion to see churches and organizations realize their full potential is grounded in his desire to shepherd people and serve as a steward of the organization’s resources.

Derek has traveled extensively around the world in partnership with the local church and mission agencies as a hands-on advocate for disciple-making movements, community-focused ministries, church planting, and orphaned and abandoned children. He and his wife Ronda, their three adult daughters, and teenage son have lived in the Nashville area for nearly 20 years. He received his M.A. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, and is an ordained minister.
