Melanie Singeltary
Originally from Texas, Melanie is new to the middle Tennessee area. She holds a BFA in music education and is currently pursuing a masters in counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. Melanie previously served as an elementary music teacher in public schools for 13 years.
Melanie is passionate about offering a safe space where individuals of all ages feel truly seen, heard, and valued. Every person has a unique story, and it is an honor and privilege to walk alongside others as they navigate life’s challenges and celebrate their victories. With a client-centered focus, Melanie meets individuals where they are and tailors therapy to their specific needs and goals. She welcomes spiritual integration at the client’s request and draws interventions from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and the Townsend model.
Melanie enjoys travel, reading, going to concerts and musicals, serving at her church and in her community, and spending quality time with family and friends.
