Karen Hardin, Community Engagement Manager
Karen joined the Lantern Lane Farm Counseling team as the Community Engagement Manager, bringing a deep-seated passion for its mission. Her journey began in law, but after raising her three sons, Karen's focus shifted to the impactful work of nonprofit agencies. Driven by a desire to make a difference, she earned her MBA with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from Western Kentucky University. Her experience includes valuable contributions to Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central Kentucky and Girls on the Run Middle Tennessee.
Enchanted by Lantern Lane Farm from her first visit, especially the therapeutic power of its horses, Karen is eager to champion its vision and spearhead fundraising efforts to ensure accessible services for all.
Karen cherishes time with her family, especially her new grandson, and enjoys her hobbies of cooking, baking, reading, and exploring her favorite destinations in Florida.
