Kate Jackson
Kate Jackson, MS ~ Professional Counselor Under Supervision
Kate believes that people are created for relationship, and that healing happens in genuine connection with others. She takes a holistic approach by considering the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person to determine the core issue beyond the symptoms. Kate enjoys working with children, teens, and women with body image concerns, disordered eating, depression, anxiety, trauma, and autism. Kate uses experiential activities during sessions including play therapy, expressive arts, equine therapy, and being outdoors.
Kate likes trying new foods, gardening, testing recipes, homesteading, and going on outdoor adventures. Kate also has a love for entrepreneurship and is often brainstorming business ideas with her husband and encouraging others to pursue their own entrepreneurial dreams.
Kate holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Play Therapy Specialization from Lipscomb University. She is working towards licensure to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
