Lauren Benefield, MMFT, ~ Marriage & Family Therapist Under Supervision
Lauren has recently completed her Masters of Counseling program at Indiana Wesleyan University with a specific concentration on marriage and family therapy (MFT).
While pursuing licensure as a marriage and family therapist, she incorporates techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, adventure therapy and internal family systems. For the past 7 years, Lauren has been leading groups with adolescents and teens focused on transitioning to various life changes, healthy relationships and communication with others, setting boundaries, and regulating emotions. She has a special interest in working with individuals and families who are seeking support as they navigate symptoms of anxiety and depression that may be related to life changes or family dynamics.
